Beside that, the film is not scary in the slightest with cliches, terrible acting, poor direction from Steve Miner, and the cheesy 3D gimmick that I'm glad was improved upon in 2018. The continuity is also bad as well, Jason changes builds and doesn't retain any of his injuries from Part 2. The acting and direction is terrible too, all save for Richard Brooker as Jason. It has no impressive practical effects and they even copy the legendary Kevin Bacon death from the first film. It rehashes many moments from the first film, all of which are inferior.
